During the week commencing 9th March 2009 Hazels Cafe with the help
of the students, office staff and tutors helped to raise £191.43p for
Comic Relief.
BREAKDOWN OF EVENTS
Lisa Michael (Catering Supervisor) Did a sponsored silence and raised a massive £87.00
Joana Edwards (Beaded Jewelry Tutor) Got people to sponsor her for giving up smoking and raised £7.00
Guess the Celebrity was not that successful and only raised £6.00 with £3.00 as a prize to the winner
Raffles and one off donations made up the rest with a total of eleven prizes all generously donated
by various people
